Roof vandalised.....Buying Roof Fabric?
Alright Guys,
Some nice patron of Edinburgh decided to take a stanley blade to my roof and cut me out a new sunroof! Its right across the middle of the roof about 10cm wide.
At the moment i've got a hardtop on the car but with all this nice weather we are having at the moment i'd like to take her out without the roof so i'm looking to do some sort of repair, really just for leaving it in a car park or if i get caught out with some rain etc.
Is there anywhere to buy roof fabric or does anyone know if anyone has some lying around? I do remember in the past seeing a post of members with some for sale but that was a while ago.
Thanks
Robert

Hello,
Sorry to hear this happened
There is a way (well i have seen it in a greek S2k roof) to thermo glue the roof without stiching it or put an extra piece on it. .I don't know how this done or where but i just said it in case someone knows if there is a shop around you to do it.

Yeah i'm going to take it up to a trimming place at the weekend and see what they say but i get the idea it might be expensive! Also its very difficult to get the pieces to match up due to the tension in the fabric of the roof.
Thanks though :-)
