Default Roof is slightly wet all over the inside?

Got a new roof fitted during the summer which has been working brilliant until this week. After last few weeks of heavy rain here in the west of Ireland it seems the roof is slightly wet all over the inside, like condensation or the water is very slowly coming through. Is there some sort of sealant/wax to prevent this?? All the roof seals are working fine.
Philip.

Aerospace 303 protectant or Ragtop..Its probably condensation forming inside unless the hood hasnt been sealed correctly..

I use 303 and dont have a problem, others swear by ragtop. If your hood has been replaced with a mohair one though im not sure these products are compatible..Someone will be along shortly to confirm that.

Hope you get it sorted

Raggtopp and 303 are excellent on the standard vinyl roof!

I used 303 regularly because I could get it cheaply!

FWIW I really rate the 'Autoglym cabriolet fabric hood maintenance kit' - used it on the VX's fabric roof - not sure if they make anything similar for vinyl roofs?

You would normally only get condensation inside on the roof if there was dampness inside the car.
Are your mats damp? Try taking them indoors and prop them up against a radiator over night and check the fixed mats are dry.

I don't think the roof is porous, being vinyl, therefore adding product to the outside wouldn't help in the short term. I do use 303 though for UV protection.

My bet is its condensation.

The roof is a perfect fit, no wind noise or leaks. Only the underside of the roof is damp. Think it needs some Aerospace 303 or Raggtopp.

Might be a long shot, but have you checked the boot for leaks?

When you had the new roof is it OEM Honda or is it an aftermarket roof. You need to find out what it's made of.

The original Honda roof is vinyl so needs a vinyl protector applied to the outside.

Other roof materials include Mohair and "Double Duck" - a sort of canvas AFAIK.

You need to find out what yours is and apply the appropriate treatment. I think the Autoglym kit is fine for fabric roofs of any type.
