roof retension?
Does anyone have a solution to the rattle of the rear screen glass at the top hittlng the top of the roll hoops over bumps? Is there some way to retension the roof? Fitting rubber to the top of glass would work but, id rather not take this route.
Roof is a Mohair, retrofit from Carhood Warehouse.
Thanks!

CHW tightened mine up when it did this. It was over-tightened IMO.
If you go that route - you need to leave the roof up for about 4 days after they do it. I didn't know that and it caused problems.
In hindsight I would have just put fabric on the inside of the window and avoided the hassle.
However I have to say they did sort me out to my satisfaction

There is an adjustment which Vixen reminded me of.
There are two adjusters just behind the door catch area.
If you tighten these a bit it would make the roof more difficult to do up so might stretch the roof a bit more and take out the slack that is making the window hit the roll bars.
The top of the adjuster has a rubber cap which I carefully removed before loosening the lock nut. Be careful you don't drop it into the void!
Another thought, if this is adjustment is first done when the roof is tight and new, it will possibly need re doing to create the right tension in the roof when it has loosened a bit.

So after a nice friendly chat - CHW warehouse contacted their us suppliers and shipped a new hood from the usa factory! Good you may think? damn right this is! without even seeing the car or my reciept they have agreed to replace.
Awesome customer service
According to the reciept the warranty runs out next week too!
