How odd regarding the images.

I'll just recheck.... Yep, I can see them (with both IE and Firefox) and so could some of my friends.

Are you sure they are not being blocked?

Does anyone else have problems with them?

I can PM if you like, but I'll have to reduced the image size as they are quite big. Probably bigger than your attachment allowance as each image is around 1.5mb mark and there are 10 in total (11.5mb in total).

K.
The pics I can see just fine .... they are H U G E

Thanks for the post though K very useful I may give this a shot, when I can be arsed

Oops! Sorry about the images being huge. I forgot how big they were as I have a plug-in in Firefox that automatically re-sizes over-sized images - so they look OK for me!

@BledS2K - I've emailed the same images to your Google account. Hopefully they won't get bounced!

It would be great to see other feedback if my solution worked or not as this does seem a common problem.

Good luck with your own solution/fix - it really is a simple and quick one to do!

K.

kmcknight - WOW MAMMA they are some big ass pics ;-) cheers though worked great & if i'm not dead from the run in Notts on sat hopefully have a bash on the weekend at doing the mod.

Also after doing some research i'm going to do:

a) cover & plump all seals with Shin Etsu.

b) add some rubber fish tank like tubing over the pins on the catch.

&

c) Remove the strikers & put a washer between the striker & the framework before resecuring - apparently this will get me an all round better seal & press the roof down onto the seals tighter - a cheap version of fitting the GT strikers ;-)

If that dont work I will sulk & probably put in back in the garage and go for a beer.

Cheers again

Well I have undertook this fix over the weekend. With a bit of luck this will stop my seal from throwing water all over The Doris. I did find two splits in the rubber seal which I used the Blackwitch to repair, so I'm guessing that's where the water was getting in.

So fingers crossed it will work. I never thought I'd say this but I'm waiting for it to rain now

Well we had some rain yesterday and I went out in the car this afternoon. Not a drop of water in sight since I did this fix. Even when I put the roof down not a single drop from the sills

EDIT - Well we had some more rain last night and when I went out in the car the second I pulled away water poured all over the passenger seat, so this has not worked for me. I'll look to try and find another solution myself.
