Roof down in the cold tips?

Default Roof down in the cold tips?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any ideas if its possible to get the roof to go the whole way down in these lower temperatures?

Could heat it up a bit first inside before you open it... Or just push it down I guess

didnt think to warm it up first .

All it is is the roof is too tight so warming it up first might help...

Put it down slowly and in stages. I find when cold, I have to try and fold it down as it goes, if you know what i mean?

No it's not too tight it's because it's made of vinyl, its stiffer when cold, don't push or otherwise force it down, as said warm it up first.
If it's cold and you rock it up and down to get it to sit lower you are doing a Uri Geller on it, like a piece of metal it will weaken it at the bend and that can lead to cracks and splits.

Yeah stiffer when cold is what I meant when I said tighter when cold. I've yet to try the warming up first, ill get round to it asap

I'll certainly be a lot more careful of stretching it etc since my glass smashed whilst the roof whilst lowered this weekend!
