Go across Rue de Napolean - brilliant roads
It's the RN85 if you were wondering.
The section between Gap and Sisteron is a bit boring and I'd probably omit that section if I did it again. I'd probably head East at Gap down towards le lac de serre-poncon, follow the lake on the D3 then take either the D951 or D1 to Sisteron to rejoin the route proper.

Milau Bridge - hopefully not in the rain
Yes, would have been better with nice weather wouldn't it!
In case you haven't guessed I was in a convoy with Andy for Euromeet and we took in Monaco on the way back. I've also been to the GP in 2001 - was a surprise trip from my husband, where he proposed!
You'll love it - it's a great place. We were opposite Casino Square. IMO the most beautiful place to sit.

Just drove down the summer there with a few mates but left my s2k at home which i regret doing now. The coastal route is far the best from Nice all the way to Monaco... but before that, stop off at DIJON and Avignon (100miles North of Nice/Monaco)- Both safe and nice parts of France that doesn't get much media.
bring ur £££££ for the casino also... ;

In a former life I had an Elise, and did a couple of these trips, the San Remo rally stage is just beyond Monaco and well worth the effort, you really should do some of the roads north of Monaco too, if you like drivng that is........... try here..........http://www.churly.co.uk/

See the meets forum, post up some details and a proposal
Here's the forum: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=129
and here's a useful thread describing how to organise a meet. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=776086
The Jacky slags Eurohoon threads are probably also worth a read.
