Fact - Blackspot need to sort their customer service

Any feedback on the B2, the DB and there customer service would be great.
The B2 database has been regularly updated for the temp cameras on the M42 etc near me

Hmmm, I'm not so sure. Burnley seems to get more than its fair share of cameras (I can pick half a dozen that have gone in since christmas) and, so far, all of them have been added to the B2 database in a timely fashion. Total number of users may affect their customer service, but not the quality of the database, which should really improve as more people subscribe and provide more money for Origin to support their database updates. The Origin is not perfect, but at least it does have nearly all of the cameras in, which I don't think can be said of the RA...

Forgot to mention that Origin take 2-3 days to respond to enquiries, which isn't great, but it's certainly better than nothing. When I called them up to report a problem with my original cradle (which was faulty) the chap I spoke to was knowledgable and helpful - he was one of their software developers - and diagnosed my problem quickly ("it's buggered. send it back")

I had read elsewhere that the French are very unsympathetic towards radar detectors. Not sure if this applies to GPS ones, but still, I don't fancy having my car impounded! Sounds like a streetpilot might be a better idea....

The road angel also has the temp cameras on the M42 in the database - it saved me on the first one of them a couple of weeks ago.

Don't worry Simmo,

Since the locals who demand these things are invariably the first to get nabbed, OAP will soon be lynched by his own neighbours!
