A few more questions:
Is it as good as your tom tom?
Does it detect blackspots and schools?
Can you adjust the volume?
Can you turn Tiff high pitched mincing voice off?

1) As good as Tom Tom, not as user friendly but seems to work well.
2) Yes to both
3) Yes
4) Yes, you can switch him off!!
Re. the database. I have had an RA for 3 years and always thought the db was excellent. However, the db for mobile sites is crap, but then so is the one for Origin and Snooper.
Talex apparently have the best db.

It may have changed now.
FWIW, I haven't come across a single camera that wasn't already in the Origin B2 database so I've not really felt the need to swap it.
