Default Road Angel Fixing Pads?

Quick question...... does anyone know where I can get hold of some fixing pads as provided with Road Angel.

The sort I'm after are the very strong velcro like plastic fixings to mount a GPS navigation device (TomTom GO) on my dash.

I've found some strong velcro but its nowhere near as good as the "special" sort that came with the road angel....... just wondered if anyone knows if these are available (I have a feeling they are made by 3M but haven't found anywhere that sells them!).

Cheers

Nah...... I like the velcro I've got at the moment (much less messing around than with the TomTom GO Mounting arm) but would prefer the more solid plastic velcro that comes with Road Angel.

They sell the genuine 'Velcro' brand in B&Q in self -adhesive pads/strips of various sizes. I got the Heavy Duty version. It holds my Ipaq with no problem at all.

Thanks Tonky..... I'm already using the Heavy Duty velcro (from B&Q as it happens) but I've noticed that in hot weather the velcro on my dash starts to peel up at the sides slightly...... not something that happens with the Road Angel mounting.

I've now found what the stuff is called...... its 3M Dual Lock tape (just like velcro but a much firmer attachment) but I'm b*ggered if I can find anywhere that claims to sell it...... any ideas?
