Ricks Aero Screen
I have tried searching but the search engine is not playing ball.
Is the Ricks 7/8 or full aero screen worth the money? ie does it make a difference?

Never had the stock one fitted, but I have a 7/8ths aeroscreen and it's pretty effective. Can't imagine the stock one does as good a job, but it also won't have to be put in position before the roof is lowered which you have to with Rick's (small inconvenience that you get used to). It's probably not worth what you pay, if you don't have the stock one to strip down in the first place (as is the case on earlier cars) you will have to buy one. It does look kind of neat IMO and the cost didn't put me off
Not sure about the stress fractures - nothing noticed on mine yet and it's been on the car for years.

Like my full height one. No stress fractures after 3-4 years of top down driving!. Have to be careful with the roof when raising/lowering etc. but you get used to that. I also like the fact that it neatly fills the gap between the roll hoops!.

When you come to remove it you may be surprised...
Mine didn't fall apart, but there were busted bits inside the holder where the vibrations had cracked it. (was a full height one and not a stranger to some motorway *cough* speeds with the roof down).
