Default RHD S2000 in Europe - Headlights question?

Hello everyone

Long while since I've been on here, as I now live in the South of France

I was thinking about a RHD S2000 brought into France, especially as they're such a UK bargain now

Anyone able to confirm whether the headlights need changing or whether they can be adjusted for LHD?

I fancy getting back in one and would have to register it out here, they're twice the price for a LHD one

Projectors contained an angled metal shield to cut off the dipped beam.

I do not know of any way of making it adjustable.

In other words, you would need a pair of ze French eadlights.

It's for a permanent move out here on French reg plates.... Given the bureauracy I think they won't let me register it here without Left handie headlights.

Also need to lay my hands on an EU certificate of conformity

Put it this way; I was glad the crash barrier was shielding mine from the oncoming traffic on the Autoroute/Bahn.

If you don't want to piss off ze neighbours...

If you are going to register it in France I suspect there are a load of other things you need to consider.

PM Kaku I'm sure he will help!

There's a few more things you'll need changing when you import it over...

Headlights of course
Speedo to KM/H

And has the S2000 got 1 fog light? if so it needs to go to the other side...

These 3 things is what I had to do to my car when I imported into the UK from the Netherlands.

Speedo to km/h is simply a matter of pressing a button

Foglight moves around depending on model year. It's in the centre low down on an 03 and prior, on the right on the later cars.
