You are doing a good job to light up the rears! It usually needs to be wet, slippy or a loose surface to get any sort of wheelspin, unless you are side stepping from 6-7k rpm?
Also, I find the power decreases substantially with the airbox cover off, and as such I never take mine off anymore, even though it does sound good.

I noticed a massive loss of throttle responce with the air box cover off. Never comes off anymore.
6k for a good start, and wheelspin is needed.
