And we could all be much faster on that long uphill section after Bergwerk if we had an extra 100bhp.
Could manage 130 before Aremburg, 150 on the fast part before Karussell and 120 by the gantry.

And that was on an easy lap.

Yup, the Kessel run (after bergwerk) the car feels like it's got about 120bhp, not 240.

And timing bad

There's your horses right there. I think 120 is max IIRC before the Karussel (aka kesselchen, aka the kessel run)

The Millenium Falcon managed it in less than 12 parsecs......

It's defo fun now. Was also a good weekend traffic wise.

Only one "incident" out of the group I went with too. A mate crashed at Aremburg. 2500 Euro bill for the Armco

Did he lose it through Schwedenkreuz? Or was it damp in Aremberg?

Yes feels painfully slow up there. 120 at most, and not that much if it's hot.

I do 130 before Aremberg (or before Schweidenkreuz or however it's spelt). But that's all about keeping your nerve over the blind crest at Quiddleback Hohe and nailing Flugplatz.

This ring talk is really not helping my withdrawl symptoms.

Schwedenkreuz.

Was in a Toyota Soarer and couldn't scrub the speed off over the crest. Think he said it was about 120 when the back steped out.

Scarily I went over it conciderably quicker the day before. Cheers to Chris @ CG, his setup kept me on the road.

Scary corner that, as you really don't want to slow down having reached a decent speed. That's one of the places where sanity takes over and I don't drive anywhere near 100%.

There's a video somewhere of an MR2 crashing there.
