No way is there 50bhp midrange gains 20 maybe..
As for the vauxhall engine, well thats cos the std inlet manifold, is for want of a better word, shite! Even so I am dubious of getting 50bhp just by bolting them on and changing the mapping.
Fundamentally 238bhp from a 2litre NA engine is very very good, its the law of dimishing returns I am afraid

Right, back to supercharger dreaming it is then 
Dark Blue Mark, stop asking quesitons on the FI board - if you dig up too much info I'll feel confident about fitting a supercharger which is nice and reliable
