Default Retro fit a 04 centre console

Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a '04 centre console (over the transmission tunnel) into a '02 car?

I'm hoping that it will just be a case of unclipping the '02 console, and plugging the new one in. But knowing what Honda are like, this is very unluckily to be the case.

I've been toying with the idea of swapping this over for a while now, and I know of a breakers that has one.

Yep - it just clips on.

Gives you loads more storage space and looks a bit better too. I have held off getting one as the going rate last year was

Cheers for the heads up folks. I think I'll look to change mine now, as I could do with the extra storage space.

I'd not seen that. What a shame about that nasty scratch on the slider
Wouldn't be that easy to replace that.

I know....it'll look shit - the only way to hide it is by some sort of sticker.

Use 'Find-a-part' as the breakers always have them. Just make sure its an 04 one cause I've been offered a lot of the older ones.

I thought I'd dig my old thread up, as I have another question about swapping over the centre consoles.

I've not got myself a 2004 centre console, which is an easy job to fit. however the plug for the heated rear screen on my 02 car, does not fit the button on the 04 centre console. I like having this heated screen, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to wire the old connector into the new button. The reason the button is different on the 04 console is because this also heats the wing mirrors on the 04 car.

It doesn't heat the mirrors pre 04? Crikey!
