Retro Cruise Control
Following Mr CJ's brush with the law and a camera van, we have looked into getting cruise control fitting onto the S for those times when you are stuck in 19 miles of average speed cameras or a road littered with speed cameras. Yes I know it goes against everything that is the S but unfortunately in the world we live in at the moment it's way too easy to pick up 3 points.
Gaspode put us onto this company and I contacted them for a quote.
I don't think this will break any rules by posting this but if it does Mods, then feel free to amend.

Please find below the price breakdown for a cruise control for your S2000.
You need all of the following to make a complete kit:
AP550 - £280
Command module - £37.50 to £85 (depending on the module you choose - The last S2000 we fitted had a CMIR)
Total - between £317.50- £365 + £10 carriage (supply only, incl. UK VAT@ 17.5%)
Full instructions on fitting are supplied and we have a freephone technical helpline if you come up against any problems, or we can fit it for you.
You will need a Clutch Switch £16
Fitting - £185 (at our Birmingham Workshop)
Fitting takes on average 4-5 hours, we like to have the vehicle all day to work on. There is a waiting room or you can have a very nice day out in Birmingham City Centre while we do the fitting. All of the kit is in stock, we are currently working on an average of 1 week's notice for fittings
We are going to look at getting booked in with them in the very near future - will let you know how we get on

Some moderator is sure to think that this violates rules. I will not be making a public statement in order not to offend a moderator's sensibilities or run foul of someone's intrepretation of the rules. Please feel free to PM me if you would like to know what I think.

Otherwise it must be mechanical in nature and thats not a system I would like to trust.

i've got the cheapest GC50 (£149) conrad anderson kit on mine, (was fitted to my nova previously)
got it wired to the cut roof speed signal wire, getting vaccum from the brake servo pipe, cable puller unit bolted behind the passenger headlight, brain above passengers feet
works well and is a nice system
i collected my kit from their workshop, make sure you know exactly where you are going as the area is rough
this is their secure yard and workshop (with the 3 skylights)

Does this system interface with the Drive-by-Wire that you have on the later Honda?
