Hey Chirs, Belinda is selling her sol then?

Seems a few people have moved over from the del sol website!

I've recently had a full respray on my s2000 (be it only a slight colour change) and am more then happy with it.

Thought about a colour change but to have it done properly (under bonnet, inside doors etc) it's nearly £1k more than going for the same colour.

So I went for the same colour Expect to pay up to £3k though for colour change (depending on where you based).

I looked at the vinyl wrap like Gaspode but didn't work out much cheaper than spraying in the same colour I have now.

i bought this vehicle with minor vandal damage and decided to do it in a one off colour which looks extreamley nice. it is a fine example and is in show condition now sadly it is listed as a cat d. it has 26500 miles and drives like new, i have also fitted nitrous for the added fun this car is not for the faint hearted and is very fast. selling due to i dont rearly use the car and it is more of a toy. it has new tyres all round and comes with 12m mot and 6 m tax i welcom any inspection or tryle. I do not however want any tyre kickers only serious bidders and people who are genuinley interested. I will start theauction at my rock bottom price and let it run.

Say's it all really.

The ebay one has already been sprayed and is a cat d, something that I feel would drag the price down more than the respray. It's also being run on nitrous and didn't get a good 'vibe' when speaking to them....
Do the maths my friend;

- If you buy a MY99/00 for say £7k
add - £2k for a respray
Total - £9k

If you're lucky it will have 60k miles on the clock, so after 8 years of ownership the car will have say 150k miles and will be 15 years old. Will you need a new engine in that time? roof? What will it be worth in today's money? £4k....maybe less.

With the Cat D MY05 for £9k or less- it only has 26k miles, 17" Rims, better roof, suspension, is the colour you want, interior

In 8 years your mileage will be say 100k. What would it be worth in today's money? £5k....maybe less.

Given how long you intend hanging on to the car the CAT D makes more economic sense IMO, but I accept that the stigma attached to Cat D is a deal breaker....for some.
