Replacement Tail Pipes - Stainless Steel - HKS Hiper
Does anybody know if this is realistic and if so where I can get it done? I would like to have some nice shiny exhaust tips sticking out the back but the HKS Hiper doesnt have these (well the old one)
Is it just as easy as it sounds, cut off the originals and weld on some new ones?

I believe the HKS Hiper isnt made out of Stainless Steel. The new ones do I think. This is a picture of the HKS exhaust on the car.

that is an HKS Stainless Steel Tip. Tips will look like that whatever they are made out of if you don't clean them
Click in my Sig to see some shiny ones. The old HKS has stainless mufflers and tips, it's the rest that isn't. Some Autosol and some elbow grease will make it shiny and then an occasional soapy sponge will keep it looking half decent

cool. If the HKS on Stevns car can look like the one in your sig I have a feeling I will be having to spend a lot of time underneath the car scrubbing!!

I think it would be a bit of a nightmare to clean them up whilst on the car. Mine and CC's were cleaned before they went on - and didn't take too long to do.
If you have some axle stands or a pit I guess you should be ok, but it will definately be a bit tricky. If you can get the rears off of their hangers you might get a bit more room to clean..
Anyway, doesn't matter if they're clean or not, the sounds it still very

Mark, it may take a bit of elbow grease and patience but the tips on Steven's HKS will scrub up good as new, no matter how grotty they may look at the moment.
