Default Replace fronts or both front and rear?

I need new tyres on front. 5mm in middle, 0mil on inner edge!!
Rears are 5mm in middle and 3mm on edges (now I am trying to wear these with some wheelspinning out of junctions lol )

Should I replace the fronts now and the rears in a couple of months? Or replace all 4 (I get a 5% discount if I do this from event-tyres.co.uk)

Any issues mixing front and rears like this (although it'll only be mixed for that 2 months)?

S02s currently all round, new ones will be the RE050A.

Mine never go at the same time so personally as long as they are done as a pair I do them seperately.

Personally, I'd replace them all in your situation (my rears used to last exactly half as long as my fronts)...

My concern would be the uneven wear on your rears, mine used to wear very evenly across the rears my fronts (and most as far as I remember) behaved as you described yours have...

Worth an alignment/geo check?

The rears look very evenly worn, just right at the edge it's low.

Going on a long euro trip in April so replacing the rears before that regardless as I doubt they've got *that* much life left.

Do all 4, if you're down to 3mm on one part of the rears, it makes sense to change them, not least because of the discount and convenience of one, rather than two visits from Event.

True. May have to donut some of the rears away though

Anyone experience of Event-tyres? Guess you order and they come (next day?) to you and do it while you wait?

Looking at service history, the fronts were last replaced 19,000 miles ago!! good innings!

5mm in the middle and 3mm on edges sounds like they're under inflated.

Call Event and you can book a time for them to come and change your tyres, I commute by train so usually book them a week or so in advance for a Saturday morning slot. Nice and simple.

my rears from last service are outer/middle/inner 4/5/4 and 4/5/3
properly inflated but must admit those figures look odd was why would both outer/inner rims wear and the middle not. fronts were 5/6/5 and 5/6/6

tyres have done about 9000 miles

My original front S02s lasted 21K and still had tread, only just replaced them. The original rears lasted 15K and a 2nd pair of S02s are on having done 6.5K now and wearing evenly.

If you can afford it change them all.
