Removing the steering wheel
When the wheels are strait my steering is off to the left, and i was considering removing the wheel and relocating set it is strait. Is this hard to do?
Do I need a steering wheel puller or can it be done without one?
Thanks in advance
Matt

I had it done and the car is tracking is fine but they did not centre the wheel. I never thought it was part of the tracking, as I have never seen anyone centre the wheel???
but not by removing the steering wheel(air bag)
one rod end needs moving in, one needs moving out by exactly the same amount, this will not adjust the tracking just move the steering wheel

this is usually caused by lazy mechanics doing the tracking adjustment on only one side rather than both sides of the car. The answer is to do as has been suggested BOZWELL suggests, ie have the job done properly, like it should have been in the first place
