Removing Rocker Box
Hi all,
I have done a little project with a donar rocker box and I now want to fit this to my car, is there any guides on how to remove this?
Also is there anything I should consider changing while this is off?
thanks

You may wish to replace the gasket at the same time if yours leaks, otherwise leave it be.
It's a really simple job, just remove what you see, taking care of the electrical connectors.

When re-fiiting be careful when tightening the bolts back up!
They have rubber washers which can remove some of the 'feel'. It's a pain in the arse if you snap a bolt, as they arn't the strongest.

I recommend getting the service manual. Someone has a link to one you can download in their signature.
All the valve cover spark plug and spark cover bolts need to be tightened to 12nm, the 5 that secure the cover itself need to be done in the following order:
Middle right
Top left
Bottom left
Top right
Bottom right
I'd apply thread-lock to the ones that secure the spark plug cover, these are prone to rattling loose and dissapearing.

Here is a lovely photo of my old mint S2K
The 'gasket' is a rubber seal so dont worry about that,
