I ordered doorplugs from bumperplugs.com which were the right colour (S2ki package). A little drop of clear aquarium silicone fixed them nicely, great result.

Did it this afternoon, including removing the plinth and putting the new plate on, the whole affair took me 3 minutes and 17 seconds

Has anyone had the plate actually painted on the front bumper? Its a look I've always liked, at lest on classic cars and the MX5 and was wondering a) if its legal and b)how it can be done and unpainted eventually?

They need to be reflective, so you would be better off buying a sticker...
