[QUOTE=MB,Jul 4 2008, 09:26 PM] When I removed my full Mugen mods I noticed pretty much zero difference apart from the weight. Cost of all the mods new? Intake, manifold, decat, ti exhaust - probably

So generally the concensus here appears to be that putting on NA bits is pretty much pointless with regards increasing power to anything that feels noticable?

It seems that the majority here favour supercharging, and I'm reading into this that the reason is the availability of the kits as well as thier proven track record on the S, whereas Turbo's for the S seem to be less tried and tested?

So; Of the SC's that are available; which one would people here say is the best allrounder; Not necessarily the one that produces the most power but the best built; Easiest to fit and remove again; tidiest ; most reliable; best supported etc.

The only thing with turbos is the loss of response and the non linear power delivery.

SC amplifies you current power curve and it has no (or near as damnit) no lag.

As for NA tuning, I have my ECU coming soon and i'm hoping for some good results (nothing supercharger like though!).

Have you driven a turbo lately Ron?

That is quite a traditional view, but technology has really moved on. If you get the blower size right then lag isn't an issue.

For example, my Evo 8 had no lag. It also had completely linear power delivery. So you have to be careful what you tell people on that one.

My Exige has a very slight hint of it and thats from a supercharger.

Dug, OEM clutch will be fine and won't slip, but it will wear out a lot quicker.
