Red Leather Door Panels

Red Leather Door Panels
Hi,
When looking for Berlina Black S2000s with Red Leather interior, I notice that some have the door panels in matching red leather, while others have the red seats but have black leather on the door panels.
Is red leather on the doors unique to a particular year of the S2000s production? It looks so much better when the doors are a matching red
Cheers,
Sundance

[SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1]Some colours (Berlina Black and my Silverstone immediately spring to mind) had a red/black split option whereby the seat and carpets are red, but the dash and door panels are black. Full red interior in a Silverstone is a bit OTT IMHO, but probably much better in a Berlina Black.

The full red interior really is the only way to go , its classic and very classy.
It even helps brighten up those old Battleship grey S's you see around

Thanks for all the replies. I think I managed to confuse everyone there!!
What I meant was that on the doors where the armrest is, there is a leather panel. On some cars with a red/black interior, the leather here is black; on others, it is red.
Which year of manufacture have which - or is this something that has always been at the buyer's discretion?
Cheers,
Sundance

I've only ever seen one with red seats a black leather door inserts and that was a guy in the states that had swapped with a mate.

that mix is 99/00/01, they changed it at 02 and didn`t change it for the better as far as I am concerned.
When they hit 04, the int design team had obviously recruited a team of chavs on the market research squad, as they started to bung fake alloys (internal trim, don`t start me on the wheels) all over the show and totally screw up the seat colour mix.
Classy became chavvy.
