Default Record time spent cleaning

Well just got to clean off the last coat of zaino (3 coats) and then apply the gloss enhancer.

I started at 1.30, so that's 6 hours.

Thing is it's on the Ford Focus

It's also the first time I've used claybar. I thoroughly recommend it

so that's 6 hours + 3 coats of zaino. I'm bloody knackered

Can anyone beat the time & number of coats?

(I'm sure I'm a zaino amateur compared to some of you )

Can't beat that. I tend to start later on in the afternoon when it's not quite so hot, get the wash and valet done and then it's getting dark so I don't even get started on the waxing.

PS - Pics please!

I've managed to stretch the application of 3 coats of Zaino well over 6 months :lazygit:

My longest car washing session was 9 hours long (all in one go)

It included 3 washes, a clay, 3 * Z2, 3 * Z6, 2* P21S.
1 leather clean and conditioner
303 for the roof
vac
Each wheel removed washed, clayed, polished, glossed and waxed.
Glass polished and rear screen treated.

Think that covers pretty much most of it

PS Moggy

Your car looks great - the finish (even in Silver) looks great. Especially the leading edge where the bodywork wraps round to the rear tailgate. The change in colour shows the gloss perfectly there.

Can you imagine what we would have to charge if we started up a valeting business.

Wash & wax-that'll be 500 pounds sir
