My car has practically stopped drinking any oil now so I'll see how things go.
I forgot to ask specifically which oil they're using, I'm assuming Shell Helix Plus, so I'll have to give them a call to check so I can buy the same for topping up .....question is what do I do with my 5 litres of Halfords 10W 40 mineral oil slight miscalculation there methinks
EDIT: Yep they put Shell Helix Plus 10W 40 in which is ok.

Just got my car back from Marshalls in Reading having had the following work done ...
- Pruduct updates - plugs and oil jet bolts
- Four new wheels under warranty
- New clutch under warranty
... and first impressions are very good! So a BIG to Marshalls!
The gear change is now silky but positive, the clutch is quiet and there is a lot less vibration overall (excellent wheel balancing). It feels like a different car! Unfortunately it isn't, which means I still have a nasty scrape on the drivers side of the rear bumper just behind the wheel !
The car was also clean and just an expected amount of extra mileage.
- One very relieved Frisky.

My Import is definitely registered at Honda UK, and needs free candles/bolt, but no mention of an extra year's warranty.
I presume it's a H(UK) gratis, so us importers are excluded.

Took my June 02 into Norton Way Motors today to have the Spark Plugs and Oil Bolts done.
Spent the whole day dreading a phone call to say "we have a problem" but at 4.30 had a call to say all's OK and ready for collection
The service manager I spoke to in the morning said they had already had a few in for the mod and were fully up to speed with the problems?
Collected car, which was nicely washed, and with only an extra 4 miles on, so that's OK. Apparently I will now receive a certificate to confirm the extra warrantee cover?
So not a bad performance by my (so far) friendly dealer
God luck stevenM for tomorow

I wouldn't be surprised if people with EU import cars didn't get this letter seeing as its come from Honda U.K. and they were a bit vague when I spoke to them last week about my car. They knew the work needed doing but my registration or VIN number didn't seem to be on the system of the person I spoke to Hopefully the DVLA is being used but its not a safety thing as such so who knows?
thx
