When I got my oil jet bolt/spark plug update 'recall' notification from Honda (UK) the notice also said
'Our records also indicate a Recall outstanding: Seat Belt (G-Sensor) Recall.'

So far as I am aware, the seat belt mechanism was dealt with by my dealer when they replaced the oil jet bolts/spark plugs.

However, my car was first registered on 08/01/2001, so it post-dates the original recall notice in S2K HTY's link.

Well known, some owners felt that there was no need as the conditions described would never manifest themselves in the UK, they thought (with good right in some cases) the dealers would arse up.

Got mine done during a routine service with no evidence of bad workmanship.

I had the problem on the car. The passenger seat belt would lock up when retracted, so when I had a passenger I had to get out of the car to help pull the seatbelt out. Was glad when the recall was announced and I could have the work carried out.
