Rear Top Strut Brace?
Little confused.
Can somebody please tell me If the S already has a rear top strut bar on as standard? Also Will I loose boot space If I upgrade to an aftermarket product.
Sorry for the extra thread, but my other thread has been locked

Yes and no.
The rear top strut brace is behind the trim in the boot so you won't lose space. When I looked into this I seem to remember mixed views on whether there were any benefits...

Do a search on here. There's plenty of info on chassis modifications and rear upper strut braces. Most people would recommend doing this as one of the last mods i.e. there's nothing else left to do!
I believe the general consensus is that front and rear upper are of no tangible benefit due to the way the suspension is made. See https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...5&#entry7736831 for a more in depth explanation.

The S does already have a bar there, but it's a one piece bar, where any replacement comes in three pieces.
I found when I fitted mine that I had to trim some of the carpet that covers the floor away to make it fit. You can't see this when all the boot interior trim is back in place, so no worries there.
Hard to say what difference if any it made. The butt dyno told me it did, but it only created more unwanted understeer, until I fitted a matching top front brace
