Whilst that shock is out, check over the bushes on those wishbones.

Lovegroova has a full set of early model oem coilovers for sale on the FS forum

Steve.

what noise have you got fb?
It's a rattle when I drive slowly(ish) over bad surfaces, Si.

I don't think it's a dead shocker as the firmness of the damping still changes when I adjust the shocks and I don't get the clunk you'd expect over big bumps.

Other people have reported similar issues with Whiteline D/Ls and it seems to get better briefly when I lube or grease them, but I'm not certain.

Anyway, are you coming along to the Hants meet on Thurs? I know it's out of the county for you but it's not a million miles. We were going to meet for a (non-alcoholic) beer and to compare ride quality?

Cheers......

I found my WL bar tended to tramp across in its mounts.
And then it hits metal on the bends.
Fitted a pair of hose clamps under some channel rubber at each end to keep it in place.

Again I have to expose my embarassing total lack of engineering knowledge - what's a WL bar?

I thought that might be the case but I wanted to make sure it wasn't a generic component that I'd never heard of before.

I only have WL drop links though, not an ARB, so I don't think Steve's problem is the same as mine..........
