Rear suspension question

Rear suspension question
I have a strange noise coming from my rear passenger suspension, it sounds like there is grit in the actual shock when you go over the bump so i'm going to replace the rear shock and see if that works. I have found a pair of shocks off a facelift car does anyone know if these will fit without any problems?
thanks

IIWU, Have a shifty around that area first to ensure it is not something else, a drop link for example. Try waggling the ARB around to see if anything moves/rattles. Failing that, wait 'til the Hants meet this week and I'll lend a hand
I would have thought that an MY04 shock absorber could have softer spring rates than your MY00...hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will be along to confirm either way.

Thanks, I have had a quick look and the top wishbone looks newer than the drivers side so i'm guessing it may have had a knock at some point in it's life it's just what else it might have affected that hasn't been replaced.
If you could have a look that would be brilliant
thanks

Loftus,
Would value an opinion on my own noisy suspension on Thurs if you fancy a quick spin?
I think it's noisy Whiteline drop links, but a second opinion would be good......
Any help gratefully accepted.
