Wanted 04 rear spoiler for my S.

I like the new 04 spoiler, but my dealer will only sell it with the front 04 lip, which they said would not fit due to the different bumper design.

Anyone know anything about this, and whether there is anyway around it?

I know dealers won't supply the front spoiler unless you buy the rear spoiler (supposedly on the basis that it affects downforce and you need the rear spoiler to counteract it), but it doesn't usually work the other way round AFAIK

Certainly last time I saw the OEM parts list (when I ordered my 04 at the start of the year), the two versions of the rear spoiler were listed there on their own and didn't have to bought as a package with the chin spoiler.

Try asking another dealer for a quote for just the rear spoiler. If they do quote, take it to your own dealer and show them the error of their ways.

Or you could order one from hardtopguy in the US, mine got to me quicker from over the pond than stuff usually do when sent in the UK

If you cant get search to find it using + in front of your search terms and being specific about searching in the UK Forum for posts Today and older, let me know and I will find it

On A serious note, order from the states with the dollar the way it is you will get it cheaper sprayed and delivered than you will in the UK.
