Default Rear Screen

A question for those of you who have the plastic rear screen.

Do you wipe the screen before lowering the hood?

I cleaned mine with Hindsight and it looked great. It pi@@ed down last night and the screen got covered with dust and muck. Drove to work today, top down but when I parked, I noticed scuff marks on the plastic again where it had folded off

Chris,

Sorry to hear about that.
I think this is where the MUZ mat thing comes in!!

On a related note: If I posted a photo of the scratches on my rear screen, could you let me know your opinion as to whether you think the HindSight stuff would rectify the problem?

Thanks

Stiv, post the photo & I'll try.

See post https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=120887 for pics of my rear screen.

Chris, as soon as you put the roof down, plastic comes into contact with plastic as the roof retracts.

I wipe the plastic screen in the morning if the roof is going to be down, but every weekend I use Plexus which seems to greatly reduce the amount of scratches.

The Muz bar thingy would stop it but, like the tonneau, is a bit of a faf.

Thanks again Shipley.

Big can on the way and I'll look into the roof protectant.

Cheers

Ordered that now as well. This S2000 ownership is getting a little expensive !!!!

Still, the 'S' is worth it.

I always wipe the rear screen if I'm likely to be putting the top down.
Might sound sad but I have a dedicated sponge and a man made chammy in my boot for JUST that job!
Man made chammy because thats what is recommended by 'someone'?
