Default rear plastic window fading? prevention?

hi guys my s2k's rear window in the cabrloiet roof is fading slightly, is there anythign i can get to help prevent this?

Autoglym do a plastic/glass polish. available from Halfords.

Works quite well.

Meguiars #10 & #17 has worked well for many people also.

And some form of protection in the roof well behind the seats to stop the window rubbing on the bare plastic of the well.

Once it is clear again, a good tip that I may try is to buy some of that self adhesive window tint film, then when it gets scratched you can just peal it off and put a fresh layer on, and thus stopping the scratches getting onto the actual screen itself.
