Rear light cluster differences
Hi all,
I wonder if someone would mind clarifying something as I can't find the answer via a search.
As I understand it, the facelift (LED) rear light clusters fit the pre facelift models unless I have been misguided.
Surely they can be a straight swap given the difference in voltage I would assume with an LED unit and the fact the fog light is separate on a pre facelift model?
The more modern units look much better in my opinion and may consider swapping if they aren't a pig to do.
Thanks very much.

Hi WRC
They do fit but requires some modification as the facelift lights have different fitment to the preface-lift so some cutting is require on the metals that holds the lights in order to make it fit, but its worth it as my mate have done it like you said the face lights does looks nice

To fit the face lifted light to an earlier car you will need to trim some of the body work to get them to physically fit and the connectors on the back of the lights are a different shape/size. Also the electrical plugs are different, so they need some tweaking.
This is not a simple plug and play swap over job I'm sorry to say.
