Rear drive shaft/diff problems....
Been getting a knocking noise from the rear which sounded like it was coming from the diff....Having spoke to honda i was told that it wasnt the diff but its probably where the rear shaft mesh's with the rear diff..(was told that this was a common problem with them)...Dont know how it goes together...
Was also told yesterday that the diff oil should be changed every 27,000 miles...I have 54,000 kms on my car and the oil has never been changed..Car has a full honda service history....
Anybody else encounter problems like this....

How do you know it's never been changed?
By the sound of it they're saying there's a problem with the inboard CV joint, I had the same and was stranded on Christmas day when the joint actually snapped.
£70 for a drive shaft from a breakers and £30 for the local garage to fit.
