OK, any news/update on these please? I have a seized rear caliper. I am also in the position of having a spare set to be able to send away and have refurbed.
Found BI still do the Budweg refurbed / rebuilt ones. Also found Caliper Engineering Ltd - specialise in the HGV side of life, but quick call and he recommended BI, although they send out to Budweg, who in turn can send out to CEL! Budweg offer 2 year warranty, CEL offer 12 month warranty but will return YOUR calipers to you. Well tobe honest has they don't usually do these he needs mine to see what the problem is. Hasn't got a price as don't usually do the car side, but would be cheaper than BI (quote)
Anyone actually had calipers refurbed by / know of CEL? I am tempted to give then a go
Thanks
PS - power of search don't you know!

I'd avoid BI refurbed calipers if I were you.
I had two (offside versions) fail due to the rubber not settling back properly. The nearside one seems to be ok though. BI blamed it on a combination of the piston being wound back too far (even though the mechanic told me it didn't need to be wound back when new) and also from using copperslip. Very, very poor IMO.
I bit the bullet and bought a new Honda one in the end, which hopefully will last far longer than the car will.
The Honda originals lasted 80k miles, so not too bad really, especially as they'd seen a few track days.
Tip for those changing their own pads, spray a little lube into the rubber seals before winding back.

My BI refurbished ones are doing the job ok for me still and by the looks of this post I've been using them on my daily for 7-8 months now.
No complaints so far.

My problem occurs when changing the pads and trying to wind the piston back in. The piston goes ok, but the rubber does not. I've got some pics at home, and will post them up later.
As I say, this happened on two BI offside calipers. The nearside one has been fine.
