Does anyone know if the fronts are the same as the rears?
BTW the answer to that is no, the fronts are bigger than the rears.

Ok found the site..

http://www.biggred.co.uk/repairpricing.html

Drop him an e mail. Parts weren't listed on his site buy had them in stock. I got a new caliper slide rubber boot for about 2 quid! Think the postage was mire expensive from memory. Guy was first class and new boot fitted perfect. Can't recall whether it was front or rear that had burst on mine but definately worth a try...

Great thread. Thanks for the info. Just ordered a couple for the same reason.
£2.90 each
£1.95 p+p

Asked him for quote on refurb to see if my own effort was worth it. £180 for the rear pair and £109 for the front.
The hard bit was taking them out. Not much more to prep and paint. So counting that as a saving!

Does anyone know if the rubber boots will have to come from Honda and perhaps more importantly if they will insist on replacing the whole caliper - or whether they can supply just the rubber boot. I have tried a couple of local car stores but they have all said they don't stock these items.

Clearly I don't want to have to replace an expensive caliper when all I need is a little rubber boot!

On a related topic, assuming I do manage to get a rubber boot, can anyone suggest what I should use inside the caliper - I have heard in the US forums people mentioning specific caliper grease, but somehow suspect this won't be easy to find over here.

thanks a lot
Mark
