Default RE050 Tyre Wear Rate?

I was just checking the car yesterday after a well needed clean and I noticed the tread depth seemed fairly low on the rears after only a couple of thousand miles.
So my question to you is: How many miles do you get out of a set of rear RE050?
My driving style is mixed - economical when stuck in traffic and spirited when not!

What are your alignment settings? That will determine your general wear rate.

I've seen anywhere between 5k and 25k mentioned for these tyres.

My style sounds much like yours...

...I got ~ 7.5k out of the rears with 1.5 degrees of -ve camber

Unsure of the settings. Will need to get the geo done (hoping for unseized bolts) but the wear rate is looking like 7-8K.
25K on these tyres must have been mind numbingly boring!!
Have to say though since getting rid of the ditch finders that came with the car, my confidence has improved greatly.

I've recently changed the rears at 10k, approx 3mm left on them when they came off.

Original set lasted just over 14,500 miles, but I was new to RWD so was pretty careful. 6,000 so far on this set, but will need changing before 10,000.

I find toe affects rear tyre wear more than camber, certainly in my case. But I think camber is an indication of how hard the car is driven. People who drive harder tend to want more aggressive settings. Hence wear is greater. I think this has more of an impact than the camber itself. I usually get 6-8k out of the rears.
