Default Rattly Roof Catch

The catch on the passenger side that holds the roof shut rattles quite loudly when the roof is down and I'm finding it more and more annoying. I stuck a paper hanky in it yesterday and the noise stopped but is there an easy way to shut it up permanently?

Thanks

Instead of paper put some black heat shrink on the catch - worked for me and looks ok too

On a related issue, my nearside seal seems to collect water, so when I retract the roof after a downpour, it spills water on the passenger seat. Have any others had this?

That is correct for one problem but it probably won't fix Billy's problem with the roof is DOWN
