Rattly GT hardtop?
Hi all,
I have a GT and currently got the hard top on and the rattles are driving me mad. It seems to be coming from the folded down soft top and it sounds like someone has lobbed a load of metal tent poles down there!
Is there any thing I can do to stop this? I can't really pinpoint what is making the noise - hard when you're driving - but had a mate in the car the other day and noticed just how bad the rattles were when I had the radio off!
So, any suggestions? I did check everything was tight a while back and it seemed to be, but maybe i'm missing something? Also, one of the rubber stays that is attached to the hard top and rests on the soft top is missing, but I cant see that making much difference! Will try to get a new one, but i'm sure there's more to it than that.
Any advice greatly appreciated

It's quite often the soft roof ctaches, from reading previous posts. A Laggy band around them helps. But it's nearly spring! Get that hard top off!

Surely the answer to this couldn't have been posted in the last 2 weeks???
Try search... or look through the threads manually.

EDIT - Revranger to the rescue.

Revranger - great, thanks! Will give that a try! So you removed both rubber bungs then? Interesting...
