Rattly cat

Rattly cat
The catalitic convertor on my 1999 jap import s2000 is a bit rattly, its not the heat shield or the fixing bolts ( I've had a look )
I suspect it needs replacing which is somthing I should be able to do myself.
I dont want to decat it however so I'll be needing a new or decent second hand cat.
Apart from ebay and the ads on here ( which I'm just about to have a look through ) si there any where else on the web I should be looking ?

Firstly, you are correct replacing the CAT is very easy. The biggest problem, as with most jobs underneath the car is rusted / seized nuts and bolts. when I replace my CAT I ended up taking and angle grinder to it!
also, contact your local Honda dealer for replacement Gaskets, nuts and bolts, they are very inexpensive.
Regarding where to find one, I guess forums / auction sites are probably best, i actually managed to get a second hand CAT for £40 from the bay.
If you want brand new part, then maybe consider a Highflow CAT, you can get a Berk one for about £250 I think. I would say the one place to avoid is Honda Stealer, i think they will try to charge 000's!
Good luck.
