Rattle on Idle
So when the car is warm and on idle i can hear a rattle, im unsure where its coming from but somewhere around the engine area! It goes when i increase the revs.
After looking it seams this is a common problem and a new Timing chain Tensioner would fix this??? But i cant see in the FAQ about changing it.

Heat shield, TCT, something else lose, valve train wear, it could be almost anything. You need to figure out exactly where the noise is coming from before you start turning spanners as you run the risk of fixing something that ain't broke.
You say that when the car is warm and on idle there is a noise, is there a noise when cold and on idle? Or at any other time for that matter? And where is it coming from?

I will pop to my garage tomorrow so they can check it out but from all the posts on TCT problems it seams to be this for sure.
How much are they to buy?
