Had the 5k metallic noises on my mine, took it in to dealers, no joy.

Came up with the solution, wrap it around a tree and get a new one! Now, no more noises on my new one!!! Ahhh bliss!

If is sounds like Zebedee having an orgasm, it is the clutch plate springs.

There is a warranty clutch upgrade if you don't like it.

Bump related problems have been traced to a loose spare wheel, despite it sounding if it comes from underneath the car.

Its not clutch. I believe thats the decel buzz, 2-3k. this is 5-5.5k. This occurs in neutral. No clutch application.

The clutch problem could never be described as a slight rattle You'd have to be deaf to miss it.
