Dan,

Have you been drinking from ....

I simply don't believe it to be honest. You should be pining for the fjords by now.

Gotta be a bull$hit story. Those 3 events together is a one-way ticket to the parking lot in the sky.

I cry

you can vtec in the wet, just expect it to be like walking on the ceramic floor in the kitchen just after you step out of the shower. and that's for most people. those with moderate talent tend to avoid wet corner mishaps.

wet corners are best taken as smooth as possible with warmed tyres. best way. and make sure your car's correctly aligned.

Of course. Stepping out of the shower and finding yourself in the kitchen happens all the time.

There's vtec (6000) and then there's VTEC (9000). Which one was it?

I agree, Although driving on the unlit parts of the M40 last night in torrential rain feeling it near aquaplaning all the time didn't make for a relaxing drive.

It was like a River!

That sounds like a barrel of laughs. Sounds similar to driving on snow and ice along the M40 when your trying to get to a track day

I hate driving the S in the wet, not because it's wet, but because I don't trust the crap roads we are forced to drive on. I had a incident last year where I came off a roundabout in the wet and suddenly the car slide into the kerb. I was in 3rd at the time and no where near VTEC. I went back a day or two and saw that the road surface was silky smooth. I reported it to the council who've done sweet FA about it. It was like being on a ice rink

But I bet you were not fully open all the way. That is the point of this thread is it not. Those who think the throttle only has 3 positions: off (slow down), intermediate (cruise), foot to the floor (speed up) best keep off the VTEC in the wet. Those who know more, VTEC with caution

Surely you were driving to quickly even if you were at low RPM. Learning from mistakes is an important thing when it has an affect on your health and others.....

Just does me in when people cant find a fault
