Radio keeps shorting out
Hey
My radio keeps swithing off sporadically.
I have a MP3 shuttle connected (via the radio frequency). When i start the car, the mute light (on the dash) is on and sort of flickers. the radio doesnt swith on until u switch off the mute setting.
But then it takes a minute or two to get warmed up and goes on and off, like when i use the left mirror, or indicate left, or switch on the aircon. it goes on and off, but generally off.
Seems like an earthing problem or something, only affects the radio and the MP3 player.
I also have an amp connected via the standard radio, and have something connected to the amp which prevents the amp from messing up my lectricals (i dunno what it is but it was receommended i get it.).
Anyone know what it is? I beleive auto electrical issues can be a headache...

If this is the case you're overloading the circuit. Get it fixed asap by someone who knows what he's doing
