Some sort of radiator cover which is almost certainly doing some sort of insulation job to reduce the heat in the top of the engine bay.
The airguide is not standard either by the looks of it.
The vent in the bonnet should do a good job of helping to keep the engine bay cool.

Steven - have you noticed how they have a air duct pipe going to the ITBs? I've seen pics of the J's car with a duct going to the manifold and the intake manifold - to keep temps down. I'll dig up some pics.

I've also got my vents cut out but no ducting either. I may put in a duct to the manifold. Although having said that, I drove pretty hard for 6 hours and the car didn't suffer from any heat bog.

If the intake it seems like a waste of time, you can fit a hondata gasket and/or do a coolent bypass mod which would be far more effective.
If the exhaust, I don't see any reason to do this (cooling the manifold). Hot gas flows better than cold so you would be reducing some of the postive benifits from your expensive J's Manifold.
If what you want to reduce general engine bay temps, there are better ways of doing it. namely a vented hood. Getting the header wrapped etc... However I think all of which are pretty un-necessary on a street car.

On a slightly different thing , Ive noticed that the Spoon Snorkel comes down to the first section of the bumper grille, the J's intake is the same is the Mugen?
Ive seens a couple of pics from Kings project cars that looks like the Mugen snorkel bit only comes as far as just under the top of the rad level and not as far down as the other two.
I ask as if this is correct then without the mugen bumper that has the hole in in it for the air flow the Mugen intake is taking the air from behind the stock bumper. In all of Kings Mugen cars the Rad shield is still on hmmm

The mugen intake requires the airguide to be cut and does sit higher than both the J's and Spoon intakes. However the J's and Spoon intakes will have a greater chance of causing hydrolocking as a result.
I helped install Ironhead's J's intake and I was impressed with the way it installs and works.

So in reality my options are
Change Airfilter and GD cooling plate & Take out the stock air guide
Change Airfilter and Spoon Snorkle & Take out the stock air guide
Thats about it I recon without spending
