Default Rad shield plates with Snorkles

If you are using a snorkel ( Spoon / Muz) from the stock airbox I take it you can get a Rad plate to go around it.

Any suggestions on CF ones , does Garage Defend do a panel that accommodates a snorkel too

First of all decide what intake you are going to get before you decide on a rad plate. Some come pre cut for the intake, some you have to cut yourself.

I don't like them as they stop airflow into the engine bay.

You mean the air guide? The bit of plastic in front of the radiator that has holes cut in it to let the air through?

yes, isn't the purpose very similar to a radiator cover..

what's the problem with having the air guide or radiator cover? assuming you have got a CAI..

Not really .... the airguide allows some cool air to flow into the top of the engine bay, which I imagine gets rather hot.

The rad plate doesn't.
