I have just had a couple of stonechips repaired by RAC Auto Windscreens. I was apprehensive after reading all on here, but as I knew they chips could be repaired and they were the company used by my insurance company, I went along.
I have to say they did a very good job, and were happy for me to stand nearby and watch what they did.
Interestingly enough, the car they had just finished was another S2000. It had just had the front windscreen replaced. It looked fine. They had used a new seal and it fitted perfectly. None of the problems mentioned on here. I did mention to him that there have been problems with replaced windscreens with the S and he just said, if you take your time and do it properly then it's no problem.
So, if you are near Plymouth, go to the Plympton one, at least they do a professional job!
