I TOLD you in another thread that RAC Windscreens are monkey c nuts!

They still haven't found a correct one in six months for the Civic.

But who took any notice...

At least Autoscreens fit a new seal.

RAC, now Elephant - my blood pressure!

Those companies deserve one another.

You live & learn, I suppose.

Same here. I'm with Bell and have a small stonechip at the bottom in the middle of the windscreen. I can't remember if the chips within the arc of the windscreen wiper on the driver's side can be filled. I don't want a replacement by RAC!!!

I've had two chips done by RAC - again with Bell (?!?) - the first one was brilliant and I can't see a thing

...the second - not so clever - but as it was free it's better than nothing.

Also I think the RAC man said as long as the chip is smaller than about a pound size they can repair it - don't quote me on that though!

Karen's with Bell, hence my complete contempt for RAColes.

You CAN insist not to use RAC; hence we used National (Hoddesdon) & they were great. Even managed to fit the right glass, neatly.

More horror stories then

I've just found out that my insurance company use Autoglass, guess I'll have to take a gamble next week and hope for the best - will let you know !

(must remember to take lots of pictures of undamaged bodywork for potential use afterwards )
