I thought the OEM system weighed 25kg.

Anyway, I still think the Mugen AP2 is winner or a buddyclub with ear defenders

I have a AP2 Mugen on a MY00 and love it. I had a Buddy Club but knew I wouldn't live with it after the first spin.

Both Mugen exhausts for AP1 and AP2, are quite. I have seen them and... felt both of them off and on the S2000. They look almost the same or at least similar and the only major visual difference is at the tips. However, since am running on my AP1 with the AP2 Mugen version, I was really surprised of the performance produced on high rpms and keeping the sound of the exhaust to OEM levels. On low rpms you get a nice sound which reminds you, that you've got an aftermarket exhaust on your S without been annoying at all. Besides, they are both JASMA approved.

Since pics have been requested above here are few photos on my S2K.

And here are some photos taken by other members' S2000.

By the way, have you considered the Greddy Spectrum Elite Dual 70mm? It is also JASMA approved and has a really nice unique sound. I used to have the "under development" version of that particular exhaust by Greddy. Its been sold to another member who has it for sale in our Greek Community at this stage.

Alas I've only managed to find this one shot of the car with the Mugen AP1 system fitted.

I subsequently 'persuaded' the outlets to sit centrally in the oval apertures in the bumper. The non-S2000-aficianados have no idea it's the 'wrong' system for the car.

Right, thanks for everyone's help

As Energetic mentioned, the Greddy Spectrum is a good option and I think that's what I will go for. It has a nice sound and fit for an 04 (checked out Go Tuning's website) and is well priced.

Just have to find a supplier now

I'm aware of CTL

Most exhausts drone without a decat - did anyhone have drone with no cat? Drone is something I don't want! Couldn't see any mention of it in my research so any info would be good

S2000si lives in Poole too, so hopefully I can meet up with him.
